Homemade Healthy Tomato Ketchup

Ketchup is often linked to fast food and french fries and this is why many people consider it unhealthy. But what would you think of preparing your own ketchup at home, that is made with high-quality ingredients and tastes good? Raoul from The Vegan Corner will show you how to do it, in his video.

What you’ll need:

  • 14oz tinned tomatoes
  • 13oz fresh tomatoes
  • 1oz shallots
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1oz granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 bud clove
  • ¼ tsp ground allspice
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 1oz red bell pepper
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ⅛ tsp sweet paprika
  • 2 tbs papple vinegar
  • ¼ tsp salt
To thicken the ketchup
  • ⅛ tspagar agar powder
  • 1 tbspwater (to disperse the agar)
